Peculiar People

After a five year hiatus, a band that has been known not only to “crank for Jesus” but also impact the community, is getting back together.
There’s been a lot of buzz online about the Peculiar People reunion show, which was scheduled to take place on December 30th in Silver Spring, Md.
I was curious as to what made them decide to get together now and what everyone had been doing in between.
Band members MayDay and Sandman graciously sat down with TMOTTGoGo to talk about the history of the band, what makes their music different, and why they will be Peculiar until they D.I.E.

If you haven’t heard Peculiar People’s music yet, don’t be quick to dismiss them as just another gospel go-go band. Their sound is unique. They play many original songs; as MayDay explains, “We call it Peculiar Music…”

P.dot fans have been pleasantly surprised by previously unreleased songs appearing recently on the band’s Facebook page. Some fans want to know if that was only done for the concert.

What should someone expect from a Peculiar People show?

They are leaving it in God’s hands, and I believe that God will continue to bless whatever they continue to do in His name. Thankfully, for all of us it’s really good music.
