(Washington, DC) — The Secret Service is investigating a theft ring at a popular DC restaurant. Court documents claim three servers at the Cheesecake Factory on Wisconsin Avenue stole more than 100-thousand dollars from customers between 2008 and 2009. Investigators say Nicole Ward and two others known as “Slim” and “G” skimmed credit card numbers, and bought gift cards to purchase goods throughout the DC area. These Cheescake Factory customers were shocked when they heard the news.The Secret Service launched an investigation after a Citibank investigator reported a series of complaints linked to that Cheesecake.
